Re: letterpress..invites
OK I'm not sure I know the different between letterpress and thermography. I know engraving is like a raised print but I think you see sort of an indent at the back of the invite. Thermography is also a raised print but I don't think you see that indent on the back.Tessa doesn't do any sort of raised print, but her designs are beautiful!

Re: letterpress..invites
Letterpress printing text with movable type, in which the raised surface of the type is inked and then pressed against a smooth substance to obtain an image in reverse. In addition to the direct impression of inked movable type onto paper or another receptive surface.it's way more expensive than regular thermograhy. The price of your invites would probably double
But Letterpress is really really pretty and elegant. Gives a touch of class to any ordinary paper

Re: letterpress..invites
With letterpress, it feels like the writing/design is stamped into the paper (its really beautiful). Thermography is scanned on the paper, you feel it a little raised.Letterpress is so beautiful, As tempted as I am to do it, I just can't do invitations for 4 or 5k..unless miraculousy I hit the lotto

Re: letterpress..invites
letterpress is completely different from therm. The letters are like actually engraved into the paper & therm is like raised ink. letterpress is way more expensive. But oh so perty! I hihgly recommend if you can. it just gives it something extra.Welcome New Vendors
