Letterpress invites

Of course, after looking at some amazing letterpress invitations I can't imagine anything else. They're just so expensive! We would need invitations, response cards, envelopes for both, and possibly an accommodations card (no reception card needed as the ceremony is at the same location). Does anyone know of any websites that are reasonably priced, or on the less expensive end? I need 75 invitations and everything I'm finding is between $1000-1500. Would an actual store be a better idea? Thanks!

Have your tried Crane or Smock? They're big stationery companies, you'd just have to find a retailer that carries their books.

Local place that does amazing letterpress work is Dolce Press in Bohemia. If you have the design you want already created, you can cut out the middleman and go directly to a press shop and have your die created and your invite printed up.

A cost effective option is to use a company that offers letterpress invites for certain aspects of the design, but not the whole invite card. For instance, an image can be pressed into the top of the card (a letter, symbol, etc) and then the rest of the invite printed with a cheaper process.

Thank you! I'll definitely let you know what I decide. I like the idea of pressing part and printing part. I need to look at local press shops!
