This may be a weird question, but if you are not letting FH see your dress because you want it to be a surprise, does it make sense to not let him see the makeup trials?
I am trying to schedule some trials, and I was thinking that I should probably do it when he's not around. I guess the makeup and dress are kind of a like a package - he sees them both for the first time during the 'reveal'.
What do you girls think?

I let FH see my make-up trial. I actually did my trial the morning of our EPics. I figured it wasn't a big deal since he obv see's me with make-up all the time and knows what style I would go for anyway.

DH saw mine both times. I tried one place and ddint like it, then the second trial i had my hair and makeup done and then went to a friends wedding so everyone saw lol :)

I let DH see all my makeup trials and im glad i did bc he hated every single one and tired to convince me to just not wear any makeup at all (i dont wear any normally)... so i had it toned down alot on the day of and he said he liked that one the best

I let FH see both trials. Its not a big deal because its just makeup --its not the entire look
