This may be a weird question, but if you are not letting FH see your dress because you want it to be a surprise, does it make sense to not let him see the makeup trials?
I am trying to schedule some trials, and I was thinking that I should probably do it when he's not around. I guess the makeup and dress are kind of a like a package - he sees them both for the first time during the 'reveal'.
What do you girls think?

I let FH see my make-up trial. I actually did my trial the morning of our EPics. I figured it wasn't a big deal since he obv see's me with make-up all the time and knows what style I would go for anyway.

i wouldn't mind FH seeing my makeup trials. the only reason he didn't was because i ended up not seeing him that day. but i don't think your FH would remember the exact eyeshadow color or lipgloss your wearing today from a year from now

Never had a make-up trial, but DH saw my hair trial- not with the veil and the combs and everything, but I came home with my hair did. I don't think he even blinked an eye. Men.

FH saw my makeup trial since I got it done last weekend for a wedding i was a BM in. He said it looked really pretty and I am sure since then he has forgotten. I get my makeup done pretty often and he really doesn't rememer ( i dont think )

FH saw mine last friday since I did it for my e-pics. at first he was a little annoyed because he doesn't want to see anything wedding/beauty related but then he got over it. lol

It's just the makeup..so its ok.. and it might not be exactly what it is the day of.

My FH wants to see my make up done before the wedding b/c when i got my make up done for my sister's wedding 5 years ago he hated it (i still hear about it). So i promised him that he could see my make up b/c he doesn't want to see a clown walking down the isle he wants to see me and not the make up. I think it's ok for the FH to see your make up, make sure he likes it! You both want to be happy the day of :0 )

I asked FH about this and he says that he doesn't mind seeing my makeup because it's still my face, he knows what it looks like. lol

I had 3 trials and he saw all of them when i got home. I wanted his input and he actually pointed out certain things and helped me decide who to book with. I think the make up isnt that big of a deal

I didn't care that FH saw my makeup trial...I figured it didn't matter because he probably wouldn't remember it and it'll have a different effect on the day of when its all put together.

i never had any concerns with FH seeing my makeup. unfortunately, he saw my 2nd trial, which was for epics, and thought it was way too much makeup. so now he's pressuring me to wear less on the day. oh well.

I had my makeup done for my epics and it was kind of like a trial (because I'm using the same makeup person). I'm very glad FH saw because he hated my eyelashes (he thought they were way too long) so at least I can change that. He was scared they were spiders ready to fly off my face!

i would definitly want him to see my makeup trial. what if he thinks you look like a clown! its better he tells you from your trial then you show up on your wedding day like that!

I'm letting FH see my make-up, I'm planning on doing a trial the day we do our e-pics so that my pretty make-up gets some use! Lol
