Levain Bakery - YUM YUM!!!!!

Okay .. so I asked about it here .. and never got any responses ..

so .. finally .. we worked it into our schedules to take a trip out east .. stop off at this bakery .. check out Montauk again .. etc ..

and all I have to say about this bakery .. is YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM!!!

Levain Bakery in Wainscott (East Hampton) was featured on an episode of Unwrapped, on the Food Network .. specifically because of their cookies.

The cookies they make are HUGE! It's a fistful of cookie! Seriously, they weigh in at a 1/2-pound before cooking.

Anyway .. they had four kinds .. Oatmeal Raisin, Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Walnut, and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip.

We tried all four, and they are all so good .. and I'm not even a fan of Oatmeal Raisin.

So .. if you're heading out east .. this is a MUST stop-and-see-and-taste!

They're located right on Montauk Highway in Wainscott .. in the Wainscott Commons.

Oh, and we also tasted their Sour Cream Coffee Cake Loaf (or something like that) .. again .. YUM!

Cookies were $3.50 each .. a (very thick slice) of the 'loaf' was $2.50 each. Totally, totally worth it!
