Levittown / Commuting to the City

Levittown / Commuting to the City

Levittown has no train. I think you would use the Hicksville line. Does anyone know the parking situation and who it works being a non-resident.

Levittown and Hicksville are both town of hempstead, you can contact the town and get a permit.... otherwise there is metered parking. Hicksville is transfer point on many lines, so you will have your choice of trains.

You could also go to Wantagh and take that line in.

Depending on where you are in Levittown, it is easier to go to Wantagh Train Station which is not as crowded as Hicksville. All trains out of Wantagh go to Penn Station...Hicksville is a major hub...Wantagh is also Town of Hempstead & there is plenty of parking....

Actually, Hicksville is in the Town of Oyster Bay and Levittown is in the Town of Hempstead, so you cannot get a sticker for Hicksville. Most people from Levittown commute from either Wantagh or Seaford.

Can you still get a resident sticker if you are coming from Levittown for Wantagh & Seaford train stations?

If you live in Levittown you can get a resident sticker for any town of hempstead train station...You would not be able to park at Hicksville though bc that is Town of Oyster Bay. You can not get a sticker for there unless you live there.

I know a lot of people that live in Wantagh/Levittown and they take the train from Wantagh.. it's much easier.. the parking in Wantagh is not as much, but they do have a lot of parking..
