theres, like, kids that fight there and bars on windows and stuff. and men like shout obsenities to me! and not to mention people who have the audacity to be homeless! i mean, like find a home cuz i dont want to see you!

Love Williamsburg & Greenpoint!!! No other place in the world you can see an art show, have Polish beer, chill on a stoop checking out guys AND do kareoke (sp?) at a Mexican resturant! BROOKLYN ROCKS!!!!

I have been working in Crown Heights for 10 years and I cannot tell you how many times people shudder when they hear that. With the exception of that unfortunate 'issue' that happened years back, it is a rather lovely community where two vastly different cultures live quite harmoniously. Sure there is going to be crime there but ya know what, there was a man shot in his driveway in Roslyn Heights just less than a mile from the home my mother still lives in and where I grew up. They call that neighborhood upper middle class - go figure.
