I'm coming to LI tomorrow for Thanksgiving and then coming back next weekend (Dec 4-6) to do Christmasy stuff. (Christmas doesn't feel like Christmas down here in FL!)
Is there a calendar of christmas things to do on the island? Ive done a few searches and haven't found much.

Jones Beach usually has a huuuuuge light show...you drive through it and they have a specific radio station w/christmas music playing nonstop.

I've never heard of it but I am SO there! I Christmas music! We'll be the rednecks hanging out of the back of the pickup blasting music and watching it!
