LI Kennel - Help!

LI Kennel - Help!

Okay, don't laugh, but my dog is my BABY! We live in Westchester, but we are getting married in Long Island. We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Farmingdale. He has never been in a kennel before, so I do not know of any here in Westchester. Does anyone know of a good, clean and lovable kennel that I can leave my baby in for our wedding weekend? I figured since I didn't know of one up here I might as well keep him close to us on the island that weekend.

they are located in deer park, maybe a 15 minute drive from Farmingdale.

my brother has used them and my best friend just used them in the beginning of May when we all went on vacation.

i know they are also in the process of renovating to offer better services.

Since you're getting married at the Chateau La Mer, I know a person who dog sits in her house in W. Babylon - which is very close. Email me if you'd like her phone number.

I know a kennel in Lindenhurst that i just left my dog at for my wedding. Very nice people - its out of there house. The name is K9 clubhouse. 631 957 0830

my parents keep our dogs with a woman at her house in connetquot (i believe). she's great - only keeps one person's dogs at a time and they all leave with a toy - very sweet lady. fm me if you're interested and i'll see if i can get her number for you.

Call hauppauge animal hospital, we ONLY board our dog there, they are amazing people that work there and really take care of the dogs

I second Willow. They are great with my two pit bulls. The dogs actually get excited when we pull into the parking lot

There are also dog sitters that will come to your house. That way your dog will not have leave the place they feel safe at. The price is usually right on par with a kennel. When I go away I have a pet sitter come for my dog and cat and they get walked, played with etc. :) You even get a written up diary of the days events. These places are also usually bonded and insured.
