Question.....What kind of lighting package (if any) are you doing? It's so hard to visualize what it is all going to look like it without actually seeing the lights on. I'm so confused!! I don't want a crazy disco party....but I do want some lighting. But I don't want the lights on the floor......so I'm stuck!
One they will bring you into their studio to show you what they offer. I am just getting those two towers with the light that moves 360 around the one with the sock and the uplighting in it. I dont want ot have a seizure from strobbing lights.
Ok that is what I was thinking. I was thinking just have two towers. I dont want to be blinded by the strobes either!!! Thanks!
Ok thats what I think I'm gonna go with. The white book and two towers. Ill do the uplighting in the booth, but I don't want it around the room. Thanks so much!

The white package with the 4 towers looks awesome I saw them at 2 showcases and it looked so good =0)
I didnt want the kinetics around the room either I feel like they take away from the room

I'm a Giorgios bride too, and we are also using long island sound! I love both vendors! We are meeting with Chris next week to finalize a dj package...I see you guys aren't doing uplighting.. do you think its too much for that room?!? I can't decide, because i love the way it looks but the room is so gorgeous i don't want it to take away from it.
I am also at Giorgios and I have pictures of the room uplighted in rainbow if you want u can FM me for them.....it may help make a decision.
I chose not to do the uplighting because the room is so naturally beautiful. Plus we have all the windows with the views. Personally i think the uplighting is a little bit much. But thats just my opinion. We are definitely going with the white sound board and we are gonna light that up. Yay for RH twins!!!!

YAY !!!! =0) I feel the same way about the room It is so beautiful there and I think the uplighting will take away from that. Did you go to the showcase there it was so good.
Yea we went. It was great. Thats when I decided on LI Sound. I also think I might use one of the limo guys that were there.
This might sound silly, but did you talk to your photographer too? I had an appointment with somoene who commented that the lighting on wedding he shot recently was really tough during the reception because the bride and groom got lighting that changed colors. Just a thought!
No actually I didn't think to talk to my photographer about lighting. But I'm not getting lighting that changes colors. I'm gonna stick with one or two colors....but not like a club. Thanks for the heads up!
