My fiancee and I met with LI Sound last night for our first appt. We loved what they had to offer but quoted us a price that was MUCH higher than other DJs. We really want to use them but we would need to price to be lower. Can anyone help? Provide advice? Please FM me a quote you were given and what that included. We really want to make the right decision but also need to stay within budget since we are also house shopping while planning our wedding.
I agree. We liked what they had to offer and thought they would do a great job but thought they were way too pricy. I am no help with quotes becuase I threw out the quote they gave me but ended up going with Tommy Tunes for basically the same package for almost 2k less.

LI Sound is great. My best friend used them. Maybe if you let them know the price is a bit out of your budget they might negotiate with you. Some wedding vendors are flexible and will do the best they can to help the client out !! :)
We went with After Hours. Phil is great!
The 2nd most reasonable quote we got was from Genesis Entertainment. We went with LI Sound bc Fh is a sound guy and he liked the equipment but Genesis was more willing to work with us on cost and they threw more in. Ask for Damian.
Genesis quoted us more than LI Sound lol! And they wouldnt work with us at all. So funny. We ended up going with genesis because they are the sand castle house vendor and have exclusive rights to the surround system or something....BlahhHhh I hate when I hear things like this.
We felt the same way. We really liked LI Sound, but the price was out of our budget. We went with Fm Entertainment. We got basically the same package for quite a bit less and they did an AWESOME job
