LI Sound vs. Tommy Tunes

Having such a hard decision deciding between LI Sound and Tommy Tunes. They both seem good as per the reviews on here though most of them are from a few years ago.

Met with both, like them both and there is a price difference, so not sure if one is worth much more than the other. Any feedback would be appreciated!!

That's really hard. I met with both also. I felt very comfortable during both meetings. I'm also still deciding. The only thing that I can say is that LI Sound really does put a huge effort into their meetings. I mean they do a mini demo, which really gives you a feel for their style. I have heard so many rave reviews of LI Sounds and seen them at almost every bridal showcase. I think they are definitely worth the money. I love their photobooth! HTH!

Congratulations on your wedding! I agree that LI Sound puts a lot into the meeting. We were there almost three hours!! Felt good about their equipment and it seemed like they cared more about what our needs were and understanding who we were. They are more money than Tommy Tune's but I guess you get what you pay for.

And I love the all white equipment (and the photo booth too)!

We met with both and went with li sound.I'm so glad I did because li sound did an amazing job at our wedding.

I picked LI Sound and am very happy so far. I felt like they really care about my wedding and I'm not just another wedding to them. That they will make mine about me and fh and our guests as well. I loved there fun room.

I chose LI Sound but never met with Tommy Tunes. I know some people who have used Tommy Tunes in the past and chose not to meet with them.

I met with both LI Sound and Tommy Tunes and I booked with Tommy Tunes. I felt that their customer service was exceptional, their prices were right, and they weren't pushy. When I went to see LI Sound they made me fill out a questionnaire asking what I had liked and disliked about other DJ companies I had met with. I told them I disliked when other DJ companies tried to sell me on things that I didn't want and weren't willing to customize a package to my needs. The guy from LI Sound went on to do just that and try to talk me into believing I needed things that I didn't want or need. Plus I thought their prices were obscene for their extras. If I remember correctly they wanted something like $900.00 just to bring two plasma TVs to my wedding - that not including having to paying extra for a photo montage. I know alot of girls on here like them, but I just wasn't impressed. I felt that Tommy Tunes worked with me to create the DJ package that I was looking for and worked hard to keep it within my budget. If you go meet with them again ask to speak to Stephen, he was great! Good luck!! :)

My sister used LI Sound and they were great, we went to meet with Tommy Tunes and he gave us a pretty good deal and werent pushy at all. My fiance really liked him and wants to book with them. My sister said I should go meet with LI sound but I really think I might book with TT, alot of the teachers in the school I work in are using them as well.

I'm glad we met with both though because you do get a different feel, but it could make the decision real hard like it was for us. If we didn't meet with LI Sound, we would of been just fine with Tommy Tunes. In the end, we did choose LI Sound. Good luck!

I was recently at my friends wedding and she used Tommy tunes.......they had the dance floor packed the entire night. I have never heard LI sound and I'm sure they are great but I know from personal experience that Tommy Tunes is great! Hope this helps.

We used Tommy's Tunes and were so happy with them.

I've heard great things about LI Sound also, so I am sure you are in great hands either way.

Same with us! Fh wanted LI sounds and I thought tommy bc I attended a wedding where the mc joe was off the hook keeping the dance floor packed. In the end LI sounds matched Tommy's price who is apparently underbidding a lot of DJ companies. Same exact package was a difference of $300! We went with LI sounds.

I'm having the same dilemma-- but deciding between Absolute Entertainment as well.Absolute is the only one of the three that I've ever seen in action, but they all seem to get good reviews. Would someone be able to email me quotes from both??
