LI Sounds or FM Entertainment

Hi-

I met with a total of 6 DJ companies- I have it narrowed down to these two. Our MC would be Chris from LI Sounds or Frank from FM. There is a significant price difference. Does anyone know anything about the lights that are on a vertical truss and spin 360 degrees? Are these very clubby looking? Also, does anyone know if there is a difference in the type of lights the two companies have- they look similar to me. Has anyone been to weddings where either of these companies played? Any advice would be helpful. TIA!

Those are the two companies that FH and I looked at. We chose LI Sound, got a better feeling from them. The lighting seemed similar. I saw the lights that rotate at LI Sound, yes, club looking. But, if you're room is big I like them. Good luck!

We are using FM and so is a good friend. Frank and the price are so good. I didnt use LI Sounds and a few others b/c I felt they kept calling and were stalking me. Frank said his thing and said call if you are interested. They were not annoying! As for lights I dont know anything about that sorry! Good luck!

I'm using FM also. I really liked Frank and there prices are unbeatable!

I'm also booked with LI Sound.
It felt right when we met them. They weren't pushy or cocky. One of my friends used them as well. They are great and I'm excited to be using them

The quote I got from LI Sounds for a DJ/ MC, steeldrum at cocktail hour, percussionist for 4 hours, name in lights, and 2 vertical truss lights (ones that spin 360 degrees) was $3,100- The same at FM was $2,100- Big Difference!!! But, I felt more 'right' at LI sounds- ahhh!!!

I met with both, but I booked with neither. The Vertical Trusses with the Club Lights are very club looking. But if you have a big room and your wedding is at night, it's a very awesome atmosphere.
