Hi, Does anyone know of any bakeries on LI (or other boroughs) that makes specialty cake. And can make egg and nut free cakes? I'm looking to create a Grooms Cake for the FI and using this as the opportunity to get a egg & nut free cake for my nephews so they can have cake too!
Unfortunately my wedding cake bakery cannot do egg free.
Trust me. I'm a strict vegetarian who goes on vegan kicks at times but loves sweets!

my sister has celiac disease & they make gluten free cakes. i purchased it for her birthday, it was very pricey but she loved it & my nieces & nephew loved it too.

The V-spot in Brooklyn makes an incredible chocolate covered strawberry shortcake (all vegan!).
I don't know where they get it from or if they make it themselves, though. It's just incredible!

I have a fabulous recipe for vegan blondies -- it uses vanilla soy yogurt and rice milk in it! They're soooooo freakin good!

My sister got her wedding cake at Madam Butterfly in Babylon on Fire Island Ave. It was DELICIOUS everyone loved it! It's not really a bakery its more of just a cake kitchen..but they'll let u do tastings and the owner/baker is really nice!
