LI Winery lunch

LI Winery lunch

Hi Ladies,
I am trying to plan my bachelorette party which will be a winery tour
It seems booking a limo and making reservations at the vineyards is less expensive than booking with a tour company
My question is for those of you who have been to the LI wineries...which winery did you have lunch at? I want to call and make reservations for my group but am not certain which winery to eat at

TIA

I have never actually eaten lunch at the wineries because I find it is overpriced.

When we go we usually bring a cooler stocked with stuff, water, soda, cheese, crackers, apples, grapes etc. If you want lunch bring sandwiches too!

I enjoy this much more, you can eat whenever you choose, bring a blanket and have a little picnic with your girls!

I love harbes. They are a vineyard and a farm, so they've got lots of fresh fruits and veggies, plus yummie sandwiches and whatnot.

Plus the bartender has a sick pirate mustache!!!

I don't think they really have 'lunch' there. I think one of the newer ones was opening something for food, but I forgot which. You are best off bringing your own food. Bring a cooler with snacks, like cheese, crackers, salami, and fruit, or you could make sandwiches.
Harbes is also a good place to stop. When corn is in season you can get grilled corn on the cob! Wouldn't really stop there for the wines though.

Martha Clara has lots of picnic tables around and it's spread out. Peconic Bay wineries is a good place if you want to party, there's usually live music and lotssss of space to sit. I'd recommend packing a cooler of goods.

If you wanted to try a restaurant instead, I'd recommend Love Lane Kitchen on Love Lane in Mattituck. They have delicious sandwiches and salads for a good price.

we had a limo and a boxed lunch came with the package... the food was delicious and we ate at Martha Clara. I can ask my friend the company she booked with if you want more info.

After the wineries we like to go out to Greenport and get food there... there are a few places there, Claudio's being one of them! Or else we usually bring a our own food in a cooler.

I think Duck Walk has tables as well!

I agree about packing a cooler - I didn't even know they served food! I've done over-priced cheese and crackers at Pindar, but it's nothing I couldn't have packed myself!!

Greenport is a great option as well - since you have the limo anyway!

all of them have tables and some of them offer like cheese and crackers, etc but there are several cute little deli's or gourmet shops around sound ave that you can pick up lunch.

Bedell Cellars, Duck Walk, Pindar, Pellegrini, Martha Clara, Vineyard 48, and the new Sparkling Point (which serves champagne!!) are all great places to go
