Liability Insurance for your Vendors?

Liability Insurance for your Vendors?

Hmmm technical question.. called up my RH to see if there were any requirements before booking any of my vendors. And she told me that as long as they had at least $1M liability insurance policy, then it would be fine. Hmm, do most vendors have this as a standard policy? Just wondering if this will be a problem at all... TIA!!!

I am pretty sure that its a standard requirement across all the LI halls ... so if your vendor has worked at other RHs, they probably have it.

Someone who is small time, and has only done little parties in homes, or just getting started, might not.

Call your vendors to confirm.

Yep, most vendors should have it. If they don't they can purchase it for an individual event for probably under $1000...which means they may charge you more!

Yes all vendors should have liability insurance and all reception hall will require whats called 'a certificate of liability insurance'

A certificate of insurance is showing proof of coverage.

ALL vendors must have insurance if they are a valid business. I didnt deal with any of that-all my vendors had the proper paperwork-just let them know the requirements
