With all the things going on right now.. problems within my own family and problems with FH's mom's family... I am completely overwhelmed. I don't think at this point I can enjoy planning.. sad to say but I was just told that FH's grandma who is 75 and battling lung cancer going through chemo treamtents.. may have weeks to live. Her platelets are down immensley.. and she now has small cell lung cancer and is spreading to her brain. Continued radiation will make her live longer.. but she will be in a vegetable state. At this point there is nothing the doctors can do for her. With 3 months left to go until this wedding I just don't feel into it. I can imagine what we will be going through if she passes away before then.
His grandma's health is at stake now and this is our priority right now. As it should be. I have an Aunt who is dying and who knows how much longer she has..I can't take much more really... I have to vent here.. because I am not the type of person to vent my problems on the physical people in my life and although I have never met any one of you.. I feel comfort here...Sorry... for the sad post. I truly am. Thank you for letting me vent.

im so sorry, no one should be so sad while planning one of the greatest days of thier lives... but thats not realistic.... i totally understand, fh told me he would have proposed to me a whole year ago except that a close family friend committed suicide and we were told my aunt has cancer all in the same month... now a year later she is still battling cancer and we had to move my grandmother into assisted living since my aunt could not care for her anymore... it's very hard to be happy about wedding plans when everyone around us is sad... but we have to make the best of it.. and those people only want us to be happy .. and it is so true that TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS... hopefully, you can visit her a lot and make the last moments of her life as comfortable as possible.. i wish you all the best and everyone else here who is going through hard times!!!
