Re: Light Bread

PS - on WW, the higher in fiber the bread is (3 g is VERY high and a big A+ in WW's book), the lower the points...look for high fiber...

Re: Light Bread

There's a brand called Country Kitchen. I just found it about 2 weeks ago. They sell it in Stop & Shop. They make lite english muffins (1 point each) and lite cinnamon rasin bread (1 point for 2 slices) They have other kinds too, but these are my favorites!

Re: Light Bread

The only thing I don't like about the light breads that I've seen are that they are usually 'enriched' breads. I think it's more important to eat 100% whole grain bread than it is to cut out calories. You can cut points in other areas, or have 1 slice of bread instead of 2.

Re: Light Bread

I never eat anything enriched. So are better then others.. you just have to look at the label.

I can't wait to try the english muffins. Thanks...I'm going on a hunt!

Re: Light Bread

the wonder lights are 4 slices for 1 point...

5grams of fiber a piece!! (but I know the new WW system only lets you count 4 grams...but Im from the old system...and we could count as many as we wanted)
