Re: lighting

i'm just going with whatever lighting was offered by the dj as part of my base package. once i have all my deposits down, i may add on more lighting. the dj said i could add the lighting up until the week before my wedding.

Re: lighting

we went to our DJ with the notion of haveing ZERO lighting. we dont want out reception to look like a club. it's a fancy place, and the club atmosphere would be weird. but while we were there, he talked us into getting 'up-lighting' i love it!!! they put LCD lights on the fllor around the entire perimiter of the room... and it shoots lights up to the ceiling. the colors cahnge very slowly... and they mix in well. words do it no justice... you would have to see it first hand

they rotate. they gradually change colors. and you control the speed so it can change quickly... or they can change colors like every 15 minutes. but when they change.. .you cant even tell they're changing. i love uplighting

It is hard to explain - all it really is is 2 light beams of light - different colors. There are no big overhangs like you would get with intelligent lighting.

We are using After Hours so he does so much at WM that he said all I need in the manor room is basic lights. When he showed us it was a lot more light than we expected

We're not having lighting...but we're also in the dome room during the afternoon so I don't think lights would work very well!

Wow, that looks AMAZING, if I were having a fancy night reception I would get that!! My reception is during the afternoon thought (2-30 till 7-30) So I don't think we'll need that...
