sooo we already have uplighting in the rh, but i called them today to find out how much a gobo light on the dance floor would be..... $450! orrrr i can add two light towers to add lighting on the dance floor... and thats $650. should i add one? which one? orrr none???

i personally would do whatever is in your budget. its not something ppl will miss.
like if u were to tell me... uplighting or a seafood boat.. what do u think most ppl would choose?

we are having the gobo, i think its a nice different touch. i might add the lighted towers as well, or the lighted dj booth...both were fairly inexpensive. as of now i am not having uplighting but might add it on , not sure

i know people wont miss it, but it'll add a nice effect... or so i think. i would choose the seafood, but damnit the lights r pretty,

honestly, we added both but thats bc FH wanted them.....we have the uplighting, gobo and the tower thingies (don't know what they are called).....I think its kind of a waste but I couldn't argue because I kept adding things to everything else, so I had to let this one go.....
I only wanted the uplighting so if I had to pick from the other 2, I would pick the tower things......only reason is that it will continue through the party for 5 hours straight. People may see the gobo and be impressed for the first 3 minutes and then kind of forget about it. The lights will keep going through the light and add to the party!

DONT get me wrong - either are nice but I am just thinking the tower things keep up with the music and the atmosphere....the gobo is gorgeous as well but it is something, IMO, that people will look at, say 'wow thats so cool' and then move on......either way you go, it will be beautiful!

true. i want that reaction from people. i want people to be amazed at like everything about the wedding (i know its impossible) but why not try.
