like i need this 2 months before my wedding

ISSUE # 1:
My 'friend' from miami that i have known since 3rd grade 'lost her job' but what a shocker that this happens the same week me and her boyfriend argue about something.. so now she tells me she is not sure if she can be in the wedding.. FYI.. she brought her flight and put a deposit down on her dress

ISSUE #2:
my soon to be brother in law who lives in N.C. has been giving me the run around about his tux and his 2 boys who are 4 and 6.. well i finally got a hold of him yesturday and i was like what going on .. then he said well its alot of $$ for the 3 tux, car rental and hotel ..etc. then i said fine do the boys have a black suit they can wear and he says 'NO', then i said ok so ur still in it right and he says well 'NO'.. i have know one to leave the kids with, so i said leave them with your x he said no, then i said bring them and while you walk down the aile they can sit with your grandmother .. then he was like no.. so bottom line is he is no longer in it either.. now FH is upset that he was his brothers best man and now his brother doesnt even want to be in our wedding..


so ask you ladies .. do i really need this NOW

try to keep your head up, everything will work out. and remember- the day is about YOU and ur FH! Noone else!

awww sweetie, you do not need this 2 months before the wedding...

They should've both been honest and upfront with you from the start. I know this must totally stink!!!!
I guess with ur brother in alw, If you REALLY want him to be in your weddig you might have to offer to pay for everything...which is SO not fair to you!!!! And I am sure your FH is hurt! But you know what the people who really care about you guys are gonna be there and that's all it matters!!!

I agree. I am soooo sorry that you had to go through this but I had to come through this realization as well.
I'm sure there are some LIW brides that are willing to temp loan their FH's for your wedding.

OMG I feel so bad. You defiantly don't need this stress now. I wish people could just be honest and up front about things. I am sure everything is going to work out for you. You always have your FH.

U KNOW... the freind in Fl.. i guess fine we can hack that.. ho knows she might end up figuring things out and coming but the brother... that ticked me off. I would be very angry rather than sad because fromw hat u said u been getting the runaround.. and thats just not cool.

Call your friend tell her that it's really important to you that she make it. Then call & tell your b-in-law the same. Let him know that if money is an issue you'd rather he forgo a gift and make it to the church then not come at all. If he can;t make the reception because of the kids that's fine but he shouldn't miss the ceremony.

If they still say no then you're going to have to try not to worry about it anymore; everyone else you know and love WILL be there to support you. It is so disappointing and totally unfair to you and your FH but if two of the many you invited aren't there, then that's a pretty good ratio! And don't let their lack of attendance become more important than all the people who did take the time to be there... it sounds cheesy but it's their loss!!

I defintely feel for you...my own brother is no longer coming to my wedding (huge family fight , long story). This also means my nephew isn't coming obviously and he was supposed to be my ring-bearer. What has gotten me through this is that I really feel like it's his loss.

I care about one thing and one thing only....marrying the man I love that day!!!

ugh, why do people have to be so high maintenance and difficult? It is one thing if he said he honestly couldn't afford it... but again, he should have figured out the expenses a LONG time ago. He's just busting your chops for no good reason...

hate to say it, maybe it's a good thing he's not in the bridal party....

awwww this totally stinks... sorry to hear you are going through this.... this is aweful to have to deal with a couple of months before your wedding... I say whoever does not want to share in your day it is there loss... they will regret it after!

The most important thing for you to do at this point is just remember that you are marrying th eone you love. There is nothing you can do about people waiting until the last minute and being inconsiderate
