Liking the permanent French

I just got my nails done today and I really like this permanent french thing.

How did they do it...did they use powder or gel? my nail salon started with the powder and then switched to the gel so right now, my left hand is done with the gel and my right with the powder!

they used the powder.

i wasnt sure how they did it, i thought they get polished or something...i really do like them.

Question: are they like regular fill ins, gotta go every 2 weeks or does it last longer??

Question 2: What happens when they grow out, does the white tip part grow out and you have to get them redone???

you have to get fill-ins like with acrylics. I go every three weeks, but I'd go every 2 if I could. Because I put so much time in between, I usually have to get them redone completely because they lift on me. My nails don't stay well ever, this stays the best.

I do like them. I keep looking at my fingers when I type (normally I dont have too) but I like how they look

mine arent long. They are really short. the nails arent long and that is just the french tip on my nails.

this is the first time i ever got them so i dont know how long they last. Eroxgirl said about 2 weeks. I dont know how much they cost, I had to get a whole new set
