I need some advice, when I booked my hall I wasn't aware of the minimum guarantee rule and gave them a high number. Did anyone else do this? I have quite a number of kids coming and added them to my guarantee but I come to find out that kids are half price once I meet my guarantee so basically i'm screwed. If anyone had or has the same problem as me please help me. I know I have to tell the BM that I wasn't aware of it but I don't want him too look at me like I have three head.

We need more specifics. What is you minimum? How many people RSVPed? How many people haven't RSVPed? Is it possible to add people on the B list?
Call your reception place and tell them what is going on. Sometimes they will throw in some extras if you can't mee the minimum. It never hurts to ask.

I think I'm in trouble too! I gave a minimum of 200! What was I thinking for March. I've gotten to the point that if I dont meet the minimum I'll let my mom invite everyone from her woman's club and my job! If I have to pay for it, someone may as well enjoy it.

I wish I could help more...but maybe you should try calling them? I don't know what that would do...I wish I knew what else to say.
