Lilacwine's wedding was saturday! (5/14)
On a gorgeous saturday morning, Jenna (samnjenna) and I walked over to the church in my neighborhood to see Donna (Lilacwine) get married! A number of months ago I was on liweddings and I posted the neighborhood where I live and it turns out that Donna lives in the same apartment building as me! Over the last few months we've gotten drinks in the neighborhood, watched Instyle celebrity weddings together (with samnjenna) and emailed. I was so happy to go to the church and see her get married on May 14th. I wont post any pics in case she wants to do that.
ANYWAY, she looked gorgeous and the mass was lovely. I got a fit of the giggles when samnjenna realized that she had sat on gum that was left on the pew, but thankfully we didnt cause a ruckus. The bridesmaid's dresses were by Aria and were fittingly a lilac blue color. Donna looked fantastic and was smiling from ear to ear. We live right on the East River with awesome views of the ny skyline so her wedding photos are going to be stunning!
With all the drama having been discovered lately about fake brides, I just want to say (or write) that when I joined liweddings I thought I'd just get some information and look at photos online. I'm so happy to learn that the site is so much more than that and I have met a really wonderful person who I now call a friend . . . and a married woman!
