So they originally told my dress would in April, mom and I requested March instead. I went to pick up a swatch last week and asked when they thought it would come in and they said '6-8 weeks before the wedding, we don't get anything in early because we don't want to store it, unless the dress is being discontinued'
I find this strange, i feel like lots of girls got their dress much sooner than that...
what was your situations?

my dress was being discontinued which was why they had me place my order early and theyve been storing it.... i think what they said is usually the case except i think that there are time when dresses comes earlier than expected

I was told mine would come in in April, so we did a rush for it to come in March. It actually came in December!

I only put a deposit down on my dress. They wont call me for final measurements before they order until aug unless they see the company is running slow on getting gowns out and then they can call me earlier then that. .

im no help-im still waiting for mine they told me 6-8 wks before, which will be the beg. of may we'll see when it actually comes in

I think that is normal, 2 months before is how Kleinfeld does it. Quick question, where is the new location of lilette's? I want to go look at BM and MOB dresses next week. Thanks!

My dress was a sample dress, so they were storing it the entire time from when I bought it which was over a year

I don't know if they decided to do MOB again at the new location, but when i was there they said they had stopped doing MOB dresses... call first!
