Lillette's, David's Bridal, Lynbrook Bridal, or Helens in Commack Wedding Center??
I am looking to get my wedding dress in a place that is reasonably priced. What were your experiences at each of these places if you got your dress there? Looking for recommendations. THANKS!

I had a great experience at Helens and had an aweful experience at Davids Bridal.

Go to Helen's Bridal in Commack.. It is inside wedding world (which i did not know when we made appt there) but it was so great. Liz was awesome to work with.....My dress comes in at the end of the month and i can't wait to try it on.. I have been back there 2x since June when i ordered to show family members and each time Liz was so sweet.... Good Luck!

P.S My Maggie Sottero dress was $835 before alterations.
They usually give you $100 store coupon and if its a trunk show u might get 10% off too. Liz gave me the discount a month early since Maggie's show wasn't until July.

Helens was great and Liz was so awsome but I went with Davids the new one on sunrise in massapequa...OMG my dress was less than $500 before alterations and they treated me as if I were a VIP as well as my family. They also give great discounts for MOB and MOG.....10% off underware... 15% off shoes... and if my FH goes to Mens warehouse and 3 of groomsmen rent tux his is FREE!!! Good luck with your search!!

Honestly i found great people to work with. I had only been to David's Bridal before to 'play' the day after our e-party b/c my aunts were in town. That was October 08 and I went to Helen's in June 09. She was my first stop and i did not expect to get my dress that day. I just went for the trunk show they were having. I tried on several dresses and Liz (from Helen's) said 'Try this. It's similar to what you have on but a different designer and a different fabric but similar' And the rest is history... As soon as I put it on i started picturing how I wanted my wedding to be (look, feel) and that was it... I can't wait for it to come in. It ships to them 11/15..... Go there!!!!

I would recommend David's Bridal (Massapequa location or Lillette. I ended buying the first dress I tried on at Davids's bridal. The service at the Massapequa store is amazing and we took home the dress that day.

i got my dress at Lillettes so i recommend them and also the David's Bridal in Massapequa, i got my BM dresses there and my consultant was very helpful.

I went to David's Bridal thinking it would be just for fun. When I started trying on dresses, I was surprised because they were a lot better than I thought they would be. It was my first time trying on dresses and I found my dress! It's gorgeous and was priced very reasonable. Certainly give it a try!

I bought my dress at Davids Bridal in Westbury. Total was less than $600 or 700 and that included the strapless bra and undergarment that makes the dress poof out. I did have to wait a while because it gets VERY busy on Sat afternoons, but I liked that the dresses are cheaper and you get to try on various sizes. I had very bad experiences at Lillettes, and a few other bridal boutiques because their selection was not as wonderful or the saleswomen were pushy and/or opinionated.

So far I have loved my experience at Helen's. They price matched my Maggie dress, and THEN waived the shipping fee. I am really pleased with them so far, laid back and welcoming. My dress should be here in January, yay!
