I made an appointment for next month, to go dress shopping at Lillettes because they carry alot of Maggie Sottero dresses and I know they also carry MoriLee dresses, which I want to try on.
Does anyone know of any other places around there that I could also go looking, just in case I don't find anything
Does anyone know how long I would be there??

i've never heard of this place before where is it? can you give me their info please i am also interested in maggie and mori lee dresses they have really nice ones i am sorry i don't know what other places to recommend around the area cause i've never been there

My sister got her dress there. I would allow yourself a couple of hours, so you can try on diff dresses in different styles. Of course you may find 'the dress' immediately if you're lucky :)
Other places i can think of around Baldwin is Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook, and i believe theres another one in Lynbrook called 'Lynbrook Bridal Center'.
I plan on visiting Beautiful Bride myself since they carry Alfred Angelo.

there is a place right down the block from lillettes, its called Bridal World. - their web site is www.thebridalworld.com , there are a couple of bridal salons in lynbrook on merrick rd as well, i think one of them is called beautiful bride

I went to Lilettes in August to try on some dresses...Althought I am not a fan of Maggie Sottero- they carried a lot of other designers and the saleslady was sooo helpful and patient

I boughtmy dress at Lillettes & its awesome gerri is the best to work with. U will be there at least an hour. There isanother place in Baldwin on Grand avenue also in lynbrook there are places. GOOD LUCK!

ther eis another 'new' place on Grand Avenue (south) next to Liquidators. I think it's called Bridal World or something like that. It's almost on the corner of Merrick Road and Grand (2 mins from Lillete's) so you might as well take a look there too.

Every bridal salon I went to my appointment was for 1hr or 1hr 30mins. However, if you go over, they are not going to push you out the door!

My sister-in-law went to Lillette's this past weekend to buy a veil that she had tried on in August. She ordered her gown in Chicago because that's where she was living last year. Since she didn't buy her gown at Lillette's, they were extremely rude and wouldn't help her.
They told her that because she didn't buy the dress there that she couldn't try it on with the veil. They also said they lost her card with the style number of the veil on it even though she was only there two months ago and wouldn't help her find it. After a few minutes of searching through the veils someone finally came over and said which veil it was, so im sure they had they card and just didnt want to help her.
Also keep in mind that there was no one else in the store so it's not as if they were really busy. They were so rude and obnoxious that she just left because she didn't even trust that if they ordered the veil it would be in the right color or here in time for the wedding.
So not only was the customer service incredibly horrible, but the price of the gown was double what she paid for it. I would really advise anyone from even walking in the store.
Go to the Search link under the green menu bar and type in Lillette's and a bunch of stuff comes up. I found this quote because I remembered someone having a problem with them recently. But one person's experience may not be representative. Just an FYI.
