I ordered my dress in Lilette's. I know they don't order if for a while and at this point I am 5 months away. I saw a dress I LOVE online and they carry it. Does anyone know their policy on changing dresses (assuming they haven't ordered yet)? Would my deposit be able to be put against another dress?

Depends on your designer. I know most take at least 6 months to come in, so they may have already ordered it.
But it can't hurt to call and ask.

I tried to change mine and they said they couldn't. Although it was 3 months after i put the deposit down. Call them and ask bc each situation is different.

I did the exact thing you are talking about. I put money towards and dress and when I went home I hated it, so I went back to find something else and they just put my money towards that dress. It worked out fine and they didn't seem to mind at all.

Thanks for your replies. I'm going to call tomorrow and hopefully they haven't placed the order yet.
I love my dress, but the one I saw is more what I was looking for to begin with.
