1. Do they let you take pics? 2. When I went to David’s they gave me a full slip thing to wear instead of my bra – do they do that there too? 3. I realllllly don’t want to spend more than around $1500 – $2k at the absolute most. Is that an ok amount or are they only going to have like 3 dresses for me to try on in that price range?

Update: I'd heard they had a lot of Maggie's there so I went online and picked 6 that I liked. I must have really bizarre taste bc they only had 1 of them! Luckily I'm going to the trunk show Saturday so I can try some of them on there.
Pat was helping me and she was really nice - I have 2 or 3 maybe's, but nothing I was really WOW about. Between my mom, my grandma and my sister though there are some harsh critics. .

usually they dont let you take pics at any Bridal salon. Davids is different.
ye sthey gave me slips that go with certain dresses 2 tier 3 tier etc. & the corset they ask your bra size.
And that amoutn is perfect & your asst. will help along with you pull dresses you like & helps you try on everything! Gerri was awesoem request her if u can! GOODLUCK! I LOVED Lillettes!

I was able to take pics at Pronovias, Kleinfelds and two other small Manhattan Salons - if you are nice and its not busy you should be able to snap a few pics.

Actually we ended up snapping soem pics of me inmy dress. I think they justtell u that at first but people always do it anyway! plus if u decide to buy it then they really dont care! lol lol

Thats ok i had my mom & my 2 sisters with me as well. People bring so many family members they r used to it! lol

They gave me a slip and a Corset bra....no pictures though. I didn't see a dress there over $2000....they have a lot of Maggie's so if your looking for one your going to the right place. Good Luck and have fun!!!

They dont let you take pic til you order the dress. They give you a slip and bra. They are also very reasonable in price.

I tried that one on when I went to Lillettes. It is a very nice dress and I really liked it, but I needed more drama to my dress (if that makes any sense at all).

Lol I'm the opposite, I thought the beading on top was a little TOO much drama for me!

Yea the beading was too much on top and I kinda wanted beading all over. Here is another Maggie that I liked and very similar to the one I chose.
ETA I was looking for beading or applique on the back and train too.
