I ordered my card holder and it just came in yesterday..I like it..but is there a way to stick the pieces together..they all just kind of sit on top of each other..and I kind of wanted one big cake..not several pieces. Also my personalization is too big for the buttons..I can hot glue gun that..it should be fine..but I dont know if teh hot glue gun would hold all of the actual pieces in place. I like the way it looks..I dont wnat to send it back..I was just wondering if anyone thought the same thing as me..and what you did about it! Thanks so much!!!

OK...I think I had the one you are referring too (it was a gift so I'm not sure).
Anyway...it's actually better that it comes apart because when people put their cards in sometimes they don't fall right and you have to open it up and fix it so that it doesn't jam up.

ooohhhhh Good point kelly!! I had just read so many posts about the envelopes getting stolen, that people were thinking of putting bricks in the bottom...but with this one..all they have to do is lift the lid off and take the envelopes. Im worried about that...

You can't worry about that. I hate to say this, but unfortunatley, if someone wants to steal your gifts, then they are going to find a way to steal your gifts no matter how that box is put together.
Where do you plan on putting it? I wanted mine on a seperate table somewhere behind our table, but my hall ended up putting it right in the middle of our table. At first, I was horrified, thinking...'how tacky'...but ya know what...nobody even knew what it was! It just looked like pretty decoration. Would you consider maybe putting on your table? It's good because, nobody hopefully no one will steal from it there.

Kelly..thats a good idea..but do they put the enveopes usually in during the cocktail hour? We wont be there for that.maybe Ill just put my brother in charge..I was planning to put it by teh guets book etc on that table..we have a small wedding, maybe 75 people..I am HOPING that I know my guests well enough that this wouldnt happen..but man..if it did..Id be so sad. Ill figure something out..THANKS for your help!!!!

I found that most of my guests handed us the cards themselves and we ended up putting them in the box. We only made it to the end of cocktail hour because of pictures so only a few people handed us to them there.
