I'm not sure how much you usually spend on invitations, i've seen a range but thought $400 might be a little too much

Anyone know where you can get something like this where you use your picture in the invitation???

TIA!!!!!

Thanks! Some of those are really nice. I'm just glad I have a while to figure it out.

Since we did the STD with pictures, I'm debating if we should even do that for the invitation. I even asked one of my friends who is a graphic designer if she could help out, and have a DIY instead to save some money.

I know what you mean about saving $ on invites. I know that I have always thrown away wedding invites afterwards (maybe wouldn't have if there was a pic), but I would rather put $ into something at the receiption. If money wasn't an option, I love the ones with 2 tone card stock and ribbon and jewels, but at $35/invitation- NO WAY! haha.

The picture ones are cute though- it would be nice since you did the std pic- like a little theme.

How rude is this, I get an email back from my 'friend' and she said she thinks that invitation should be classic and clean. She then said she thought my idea was 'hokey'.

I'm thinking first off, how boring is that!!! Secondly when its your wedding you can do whatever you
want, this is MY wedding my decision.

She also thinks i'm too far ahead of myself. Again, she'd understand if she were getting married, and I know THAT's not going to be anytime soon.

Done with my rant for the afternoon
