LIMBO

I feel like the planning and the detials of the wedding are all on limbo (hold) until we pick the BM dresses? Should I be feeling this way?

I feel I dont wanna look at flowers, order small details for the RH, invites or etc until BM dresses are done? Is that crazy???????/

I feel I want to have good idea of the extact color to match and etc?

Please ease my mind ladies

nah I agree. so much depends on bm colors...i mean, you could fall in love with a dress and they dont make it in the shade you thought you wanted, etc. definitely not crazy!!!

I don't think its crazy at all!

I booked my florist but im in limbo with her waiting on bm dress swatches...but I was still able to pick a lot of things because I know they will be in some shade of bright pink.

I am in the same boat as you. Everything really does depend on the BM dress color. I may like a dress, but who knows what shades of my wedding colors they are going to be in. My florist doesn't want me to come back until i know the colors of the BM dress.

this is very true...I have all major vendors booked but the little things can not be done until I pick out a dress and bm dresses. I'm going to do this this summer. I did book florist, but will finalize centerpieces after I choose dresses.

I know exactly what you mean....I'm in the same boat too! I finally have a dress sort of picked out, so I'm getting there. I can't wait to make it official so I can finally move forward with everything else!

I think you had said that you are doing blue and pink.... The great thing about those colors is all the shades go together so you totally can buy stuff!

i knew my color was going to be Jade so the girls have to pick their dresses at DB so I have a good idea as far as the flowers and like i said before in other posts the girls need to have long and Jade dresses the tops of the dresses (strapless, halter and what not) themselves. But I understand what you mean.

I've done things backwards I guess LOL we have all of our vendors booked except limo and I don't have my dress or the BM's dresses. I know I want a pale yellow though so that has been in the back of my mind. Hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for!!!!!

I am in the same boat. I still don't know if I want to put my girls in pink dresses or grey dresses. When I went to see my florist, she suggested to not make any flower choices until I have my BM dress colors picked out. That's why i'm putting flowers on hold. I don't see why you have to put other things on hold. If you know more or less the color you are going with, then go with that.

I don't think thats crazy at all! I don't want to do flowers and all the color coordinating until the BM dresses are picked and I have a swatch in my hand! lol
