FH and I are trying to save $, and he wants a limo because he feels we'll be missing photo ops. So... does anyone know if it is possible, cost effective, or even worth it to have a limo for just after the reception? To take photos and bring us to the hotel. I'd say 2 hours Max.

the day of i dont remember taking pics with limo but if you are trying to save $$ IMO most people do pics beforehand and have a fancy car..
i had basic lincoln cars so we didnt really take any pics near the limo...

Most limo packages are for 3 hours unless they are doing a pick up and drop off, and in that case I don't think they will stick around to let you take pics. If you're looking to cut costs I would find a vintage car to be at the reception site for an hour so you can take pics.

depending on the company, if you use the limo for your wedding, they'll give you a complimentary drop off at your hotel after the reception. but if you want to take some pics afterwards, then i guess you can just find a car service for that time period.
