Re: limo for parents
I got a separate limo for the parents and grandmas. The bridal party is huge so they have their own escalade and I have the Rolls for me and my dad (then FH)

Re: limo for parents
We are having a car service for FH's parents. We thought the people to concider & not have to drive are: US, bridal party & parents.... Depends on logistics though...

Re: limo for parents
Our parents are going in a limo with the little kids in our BP. So they will be in a 12 passenger limo and the rest of us will be in a 24 passenger excursion.

Re: limo for parents
I went to 3 limo companies and finally went with camelot because he was the only one that gave me the best price and tried to save me money. He said to do a pick and drop for the parents and don't worry about the limo being black because they aren't the bridal party and this made a lot of sense to us. Why should we pay for 3 hours when what the limo is doing is bascially picking up and dropping them off. They don't need to take pictures with the limo's

Re: limo for parents
We arranged a separate limo for the parents. Do NOT use M&V Limousines in Commack though, I got married 2 weeks ago and they were terrible! The Rolls that me and my parents were supposed to use, overheated and was in need of major body work (same with the other limos) and the drivers of the other limos we rented did not know how to work their own vehicles and got lost on the way to the church! I was very disappointed! M&V Limousines

Re: limo for parents
i would have if my parents and FH parents were still married. but since everyone is divorced i thought it would be better for them to drive themselves since i'm not getting 4 limos for everyone to ride separate.

Re: limo for parents
well this is how im working it out...im going with my parents in the rolls to the church, and my bp is going in the party bus...Fh lives less than 2 blocks from the church so he said he wants to walk there although i offered for the bus to pick them up but he thinks it would be a cool idea for them to walk.
THen after ceremony FH and i are going on the bus with our bp and our parents will go in the rolls

Re: limo for parents
My parents and FH's parents wanted to drive but FH and I went behind their backs and booked them a limo. My parents are BIG drinkers and I just thought it was so ridiculous that they wanted to drive b/c there is NO WAY they're going to be sober at the end of the night even though they're insisting one of them will be. Don't get me wrong - they're not alcoholics in that they don't drink all the time but when they do drink, they DRINK. FH's parents would've been OK, but I really wanted them to feel special AND limos are one of the things FH and I are paying for so I thought the least we could do for our parents is get them a sweet ride.
We also got a stretch hummer, but there is no way my parents and FH's parents would've fit since our BP is 16 people and me and FH are going to be in the limo with the BP.
