Silly question here, but I'm just not sure what to do about the limos. I was thinking about having 1 limo pick up all the girls at my house and another pick up all the guys at my fiancé’s house going to the wedding. For the return I'm just confused. All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen will be bringing dates outside of the bridal party; so, chances are that they will want to ride back with them after the wedding as opposed to riding back in the limo. Should I still book the ride back for both limos? Should I book a separate car for my husband and I for the ride back? What's everyone else doing? I'm so confused . . .

Re: LIMO ideas?
typically you don't have a ride back, unless you choose to have one. And it would only be the bride and groom not the rest of the party

Oh my goodness. I thought that it was expected of us to provide a ride back for the entire party!

One more thing girls. What if something happens to someone in my bridal party because they ended up having to drive home after drinking? I'm so worried about everyone if I ditch the limo back for them.

Re: LIMO ideas?
here is what i finally decided to do - i am having all the bridesmaids stay together at a b&b right near the hall the day before the wedding so we can all be in the same place - theya re all going to park their cars at my grandmothers house as she has lots of parking and we are going to drive to the B&B together then after the wedding i am having both the limos come back and one car is taking me and the fh to the B&B where we will be staying and the other is taking my mom and grandmother and all the bridesmaids to grammy's house to retrieve cars - i figured since it is an afternoon wedding i could get away with it - got a good deal on it too - so i had to go for it oh forget the before the wedding stuff - since we are going to be taking pics before the wedding the limo is picking up the men then the gals - to go take pictures - then the caddy and i will arrive at miller place seperately from the rest of them just working with the schedule that was the best i could figure - what do you think? oakslady

I think that's a fabulous idea. Do you have a large bridal party?

Are we required to provide limos? Hotel we are staying at night before the wedding is about 15 minute drive to hall. Expecting many people to be staying at the hotel. Are we required to provide them with transportation, too?

We are having the limo pick the guys up at the house, take them to the church...pick the girls up at the hotel, take them to the church. Take everyone to the reception. We also got a shuttle bus to take the people staying at the hotel to the church and reception. At the end of the nite, a limo and the shuttle bus are picking everyone up at the reception and taking them back to the hotel.

I've been asking around and it seems as though everyone feels as though we are NOT required to provide transportation for the bridal party back from the wedding. Guests, I certainly don't think you should be responsible for. I'm still up in the air for what to do for our bridal party though . . .
