Limo nightmare
Alright, I felt the need to share this with you girls and I guess, get what out of it you can. I've asked my parents to help out looking at Limo's because they are only during the week and I can't get up during business days. Anyway, I mention one company and my mom tells me this story:
This girl she works with got married last November and said the only vendor she disliked was her limo company. Winds up that the owner of the company told her not to give her final payment to the new driver but for some reason, it all worked out time wise that she had to give it to the driver who said she would hold onto. It was a certified check so she wasn't too worried. So, the woman puts it on the dashboard rolls down the window and woop! It goes out the window! So they are on their honeymoon adn her mother calls saying that the limo company keeps badgering her saying we need that final payment. Mother asked, should I just pay them? Girl said No, thats not right, its not my fault that the stupid driver rolled down the window, I'll pay when we get back. So they get back and they are getting HOUNDED that they need their money, need their money, calling all the time. The bank says they can't cancel/issue a new one unless they are there in person so they are waiting to get some time off of work to do it. Well, during all this the driver gets fired!!! This driver starts CALLING THE BRIDE constantly quoting scripture, etc. etc. telling her how evil she is!!! OH MY GOD! So, the moral of the story? Have it in clear terms who gets the final payment and who exactly to give it to. (and make sure the window isn't down)
