Limo poll

Limo poll

Anyone not having a limo? I don't see the reason for me to have one. We are getting married at the Fox Hollow and my parents house where I will be getting ready is only 10/15 minutes away...plus we have a somewhat small bridal party. So I'm just wondering what everyone is planning on doing.

I'm doing the limo but I am getting married in Queens then going to take pics and then going to Leonard's for the reception. My BP is 10 people. I am getting a Rolls for FH and I, 14 passenger limo for BP and an 8 passenger limo for our parents.

We are getting one large limo for the BP...but we need to go from the church to the reception (about a half hour). if it doesnt make sense, than why waste the money!

I am having a limo and a lead car for us. Ceremony in Queens, Reception in the Bronx, although they are only 15 minutes apart.

But I suggest you find a car service that maybe has a small stretch limo or a nice big town car. Since you're so close and don't really need it to take you anywhere other than your hall. I'm assuming you're taking pics there??

Also 1 large limo for me, but we have to. Church to reception, with 4 hours in between for photos!

I wish we didn't need one, but we do because we're taking pics before the ceremony, and we have 11 people in our BP.

Since the ceremony is at 11:45, we are taking pictures at my parents house and then at the hall. I think I will look into a car service or small stretch like you suggested. I don't even need a white one - just one to get us all there at once.

Ok, thanks -My ceremony start at 1:30.. and I started getting nervous thinking it was a big gap. What time do think you will be at Leornards?

Re: Limo poll

I know what you mean about the gap!! (if it rains I'm done!) I will probably be there are around 5-5:30, which is good because we can then take pics on the Leonard's outside grounds and some indoor pics, before my guests arrive.

I am getting married at my reception hall, but getting a pickup-dropoff service limo for myself and my BP...for one main reason...my dress. I will not be able to ride in the backseat of my parent's car in a ballgown, and I want to get ready at my parent's house. I think if you feel comfortable going in your parent's car, then 86 the limo and save yourself some money...just consider your attire, pictures, etc. before you decide.

Consider the size of your dress and whether or not you will fit into a regular car wearing it.

My ceremony and reception locations are 1 hour apart. We are definitely using limos! Already booked with Serentity!
