The quotes I've been getting from limo companies are outrageous to say the least. We need 2 limos and a Rolls for pickup and dropoff only, a towncar pickup after the Reception. Ceremony/Reception is at the same site (West Sayville Country Club), no need for the stocked bar for such a short ride, the Wedding Package fanfare, the Rolls photo opps, just rides ... the one limo from Commack to West Sayville, the other 2 cars from East Islip to West Sayville (about 5 miles), the towncar from West Sayville to Islandia.
Quotes have been anywhere from $600 - $800!!!! Gotta be kidding me ... Guess we were dreaming when we thought we were going to pay AT MOST $500 for transportation!
Thinking of having my girls and parents rollerblade down Montauk Highway to get to the Country Club ....
Anyone know of any quality places out there that are reasonable???

Hey, I am getting married the same day at Timber Point Country Club. We looked at West Sayvile and almost booked there.
Regarding limos, I feel the same way. The cheapest quote I got was from Serenity Limos, so we booked with them. The phone number is in my profile if you want to give them a call for a quote.

i feel the same way. the prices are high, and they don't do anything to be flexible. we can't have the whole 'wedding package' because half of it isn't allowed at the church. (the runner) we don't need the transportation that they offer from the reception and we may not need transportation to the airport. we do need an extra hour and most places have said 'well those are our packages' it stinks

Please! I know! We were looking into adding a late night pick up to get us to the hotel from the reception and it was $80 for goind 2 miles! I measured it one day this weekend! That's $40 a mile - holy cr@p!!
I called the limo company and they were like, at 1am you have to pay because a driver won't get up for anything less. OK - I understand that, but geez. So we'll beg friends for a lift!
And what gets me even more ticked off is that I think we should have gotten the late night pick up for gratis since we are paying for 2 limos during the day.
My only saving grace on this is that the lady at the limo place I am dealing with is soooooooo nice.

I am paying $1200 for 2 limos, a rolls, and a parents car from West Hempstead to Flowerfield. $600-$800 seems like a lot for waht you need

I see I'm not alone here!
Sir Oliver was actually one of the higher priced places I contacted for what we need($725). Especially shocking since they were recommended by my CH (West Sayville Country Club) and are literally right down the block from them.
We're still researching ....

I am booking Ultimate Class tonight. They were the most reasonable. To pick me up in Babylon (Me, mom, and Jr BM) and drive us to the Meadow Club they quoted me $100.00. Then I needed rided to and from the airport for the HM for a Town Car they quoted me 75 each way. That was the cheapest I found.

i am currently dealing with whitestart limo they have some great packages check them out they are located in flushing, ny www.whitestarlimo.com or something like that give them a call they are pretty reasonable to me maybe they'll work for you.

I went all over and the prices are ridiculous... I agree.. they all have different pitches.. what it balls down to is you need a car to take you from point a to b and the fact is the cars are not even occupied for that long .. but they get ya... as they are essentialll.. and they add character to the wedding anyway I went all over and we chose Atlantis... Steve is the name of the guy very honest direct and gave car to hotel night of wedding and car to airport.. could not beat the offer.. so we booked with him... they are listed... Good luck

We're doing pick up drop off only also...I made a package for less than $1500 which includes:
1. 10 hrs night of bachelor/bachelorette parties in a 16 pas navigator stretch
2. day of wedding pick up (home to site) white lincoln stretch
3. day of wedding pick up (site to home) white jaguar stretch
4. day after pick up and stop at guests hotel for farewll brunch and then onto jfk white lincoln stretch
5. return fromhoneymoon pick up white lincoln stretch
all vehicles are stocked alcohol, runner, etc all vehciles are ordered in white and 2003-04
we're happy ut you're right some of these drivers are crazy with transportation prices
