Limo problem...please help me

Ladies, I had told you all that I had cancelled and called off my wedding...I recently posted that I have a problem regarding my catering hall...well now the limos are a problem. I was told I was given a credit, but they have been driving me nuts, I paid out to the company my bill in full by check and the deposit by credit. They are really a pain. NO where on the contract does it say that I am not entitled to my refund. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to deal with this?

Oh, and p.s. they claimed that they gave me a credit...I used a small part of the credit (like $70...and they used my credit card number and charged my account)...grrrr....I will call everyone I know now that I referred them to and tell them to cancel!

I would really read over the contract and she what it says, and if it seems like they have to give you your money back, go to a lawyer and have him read over the contract and tell you if they do indeed owe you money and what you need to do next.

It is not in the contract anywhere...I am going to speak to the owner about this first.

If you've read the front and back of the contract, and are 100% sure it doesn't say no refund in the event of cancellation threaten to sue. It costs $15 to file in small claims court.

Threaten the owner with a lawsuit. If that doesnt work you can represent yourself in small claims court or you can go to a lawyer and a lawyer can probably make a few phone calls and settle this, since once you get a lawyer they may cave in really quickly based on a few phone calls from a lawyer.

Yes I agree!! Sorry you have to deal with this.

Ladies thank you for the advise. I think that I will take them to small claims court, if this is not resolved...I reviewed the contract and they should be refunding me (minus the deposit which they did document as non-refundable).

You can always get 7 on your side. Call channel 7 news and that help people with problem like this. They will give your money back in a heart beat, then last thing thay want is their mug on the news.

If it is not too much trouble can you FM me the company. We are still looking for limos and this would help us out.

Good luck.

Try to dispute it through your bank/credit card company. They are usually very good about these kinds of things... ?

I would re-read your contract again to be 100%, also you could report them to BB.
