My ceremony is at the same place as reception and I was wondering if I would be spending unecessarily if I had 3 limos - Me and my parents in one, Groomsmen in another and Bridesmaids in the 3rd? Is that a waste to pay for 3 limos just for one stop? Also, do the grooms parents get limos? They would need two because they are divorced and both remarried. I don't want to spend $1,000.00 in limos if it is just one stop! Any opinions? Thanks girls!

Re: Limo question..
I agree, 3 limos might be unnecessary if everything is taking place in one location. YOu might want to get a limo for yourself and your prents, but beyond that, you really don't need it.

I wouldnt spend the extra money. Save it for your honeymoon or spurlge on something else you really want. Perhaps you can just get the one limo for photos. And maybe they can even do an hourly rate to save you more $$

Re: Limo question..
I wouldn't spend the extra $$ either- spend it on your honeymoon and treat yourselves to something extra special. (I'm not having ceremony at the same place as reception and only getting 2 limos- I think FH's family was insulted that we weren't getting them a limo... I'm not getting my own parents a limo though, they'll get over it, or get it on their own.)

Re: Limo question..
I say spend the money. I am. I am in the same situation as you are. Having my ceremony at the reception hall. I will be having 2 limos. One rolls for my parents and I and an Escalade for my bridal party (16 people). I don't think I should not have them only because I don't have a church. My bridal party (and I) deserve to arrive in style and they (and I) will. My photographer will leave ahead of us and the limos will be in the pics. And after the reception I will have a limo bring them back to where they were picked up. I have gotten quotes of about $1400 for this.

It's up to you, but if you need to save $$$, this would be a good place. I would say spurlge on something else.

Re: Limo question..
We are getting married at the reception, and originally we were not having limos
But we live in Long Beach and we are getting married Memorial Day weekend, and taking our pictures in Long Beach - there just won't be any parking.
The limo is for the BP only for pictures. I really don't think its necessary if the ceremony and reception are at the same place, unless like us you are running into some parking problem

Re: Limo question..
Well really what is the alternative to 3 limos, a truck? About the same price if not more anyways. As far as parents I am going throught the same thing (well they arent divorced and remarried which makes your situation even harder) but the cost is getting ridiculous, I think i am gonna have the grooms father join the groomsmen and the grooms mother join the girls even though i am sure they wont be all that thrilled, its only a 20 minute drive and most of them are related anyway.
Did this help or am a just babbling. i just hear where you are coming from, do what suits best and fits your budget.
