Hey girls... got a question. FH has mentioned a couple of times that he really wants to get limos involved in our wedding. Here's the thing - our ceremony is at the RH. aren't limos generally used when the ceremony and reception are in different places? so are limos just a waste of money in this case??? TIA for your thoughts & opinions!

IMO limos are really costly for what you get which is a ride, but they still remain a necessity for most bridal parties. I know in some cases where ceremony is taking place at same venue as reception, brides opt to book them for the morning of. That way they can have transportation for BP to hair/makeup, photos and to ceremony. I guess it all depends on what you are having done that day and where it is being held.

we are having the ceremony at the RH. we are doing the limo for pic sites beforehand. then a ride to the hall. I am also going to get a limo to bring the parents. There are places that will charge less for just a drop off. IMO it is a special day and you should be in a special vehicle. We are getting the Rolls for us.

we were married at the reception hall as well...
we used a limo to bring everyone to the RH & my parents had a sedan.
Call Joe at Camelot - he gave us the best deal possible!!!

thank you soooo much!! i would hate for FH to miss out on being in a special car on our special day, but I'm so worried that the limo won't fit into our budget. if we get a great deal, it'd be really nice to have one for photos and to bring us and the families there! thanks again!

My friend had her ceremony and reception at the RH too, but she still got limos for the bridal party. It might seem like it's a waste cause you're just getting a ride from the house to the place, but I still think it's needed. How else are you going to transport everyone from your house to the RH? Check out Royalty Limos, a lot of people use them and I've always heard good things about them. I'm using them myself.

We are doing everything within walking distance pictures/ceremony/reception. I would love to have limos to bring everyone to the location but it does seem silly to pay so much. So, I am not sure yet.

did u have the limo pick u back up at the end of the night? i just think that would be better for the BP & moms & dads so that way they dont havta worry about not drinking if they want to...

i think you guys are right - you've convinced me. it's a special day, so we should have special vehicles. i'm definitely going to find a way to put it in our budget!
