Limo questions

I was thinking of having a car pick up the guys and drop them off, and then take me to the church. Then having a 16 passenger pick us all up from the church and do pictures, reception, etc.

What's a typical package consist of? how many hours and what price? Why are prices so much higher for weddings than 6 hour trips around NYC? Its not fair. how long do you get the limo for? I have a couple hours between the church and the reception.

what places (in W. Suffolk) would you recommend?

All info appreciated.
Thanks

Limo questions

What type of 16 passenger are you looking for? I am getting a 10 passenger limo to bring the guys to the church. Then it will bring me and the bridesmaids to the church. After the wedding it will leave and we will all get on a party bus that will meet us a the church. If you are looking for a 16 passenger limo then you should get it from the start to pick you up and keep it for the rest of the time.

Limo questions

You should definitely call around to a few places. We used Royalty in Franklin Square.

As for places in W. Suffolk, I can tell you we had a bad experience with All Star Limo in Farmingdale. I initially spoke with them on the phone, and made an appointment to see their Rolls Royce and Lincolns. Well, long story short, we had to go back several times trying to see their Rolls Royce, which everytime was in the shop. No one ever bothered to pick up the phone and tell us not to come (they had our phone number from our first conversation). On the last appointment we had with them, and the car still not yet back, we said we 'might' try back the following week. Well, we never went back, and they finally decided to use our phone number the very next day, trying to book another appointment!

While I know there has been at least one person here to used All Star with success, I just did not feel comfortable with the way they were treating us. Plus, when questioned about the Rolls Royce`s dependability, they had informed us that if there was a problem with it, they would send a Lincoln in its place. Not what I want if I`m booking a Rolls Royce!!

Anyway, we decided to go out to Royalty, who treated us great. We ended up spending a little more to get a Jaguar instead of the Lincoln. And we had a choice of Rolls Royces! The one minor knock against them was we had to assist the drivers with directions, which was no big deal to me, but might be to others. I should have provided them with directions or map cards, but let myself run out of time.

Limo questions

To help with your limo question, we found out that, out of all the limo companies we checked with, Dynasty limosuine of West Islip, was the most helpful. The drivers were well dressed and very nice. They catered to both of our needs. If interested, call and speak with Kenny. He helped us with everything. Hope we helped,
