This whole limo booking thing is driving me insane! I kept hearing such good things about Royalty so my FH called them today. Talk about RUDE! My FH asked for a specific person and told him that he came highly recommended but he just sorta grunted and was not helpful whatsoever. The guy sounded so distracted and kept offering a 10 person limo after my FH told them at least 3 times that it was for 12 people...and that we wanted a 14 person limo. He even quoted us higher than the other companies.
What a disappointment!

I heard so many good things and was so excited...when I called the guy was like a car salesman. Very rude and as I was going to hang up tried to haggle with me. Very big turn off!!!!!!!!

That is so strange. We met with Manny at the Watermill. We were impressed he was not pushy and gave us the best prices.
We were very dissatisfied with Sir Oliver. Rich only wanted to speak with FH and was so rude to me.
They both have great names on this website. I think some nights we just don't catch people in there best moods.... or personalities are just different!

Have you looked into smaller limo companies? We heard of one from a friend and ended up getting a great deal. There are a ton on great limo companies that do weddings but don't really advertise. check around in the neighborhood or the phone book. I think some of the limo people act rude because they know that even if they treat you like crap somebody else will book them anyway...that's what I hated about the a lot of the limo people I met at showcases and stuff like that.

Try Sir Oliver, Very nice people. Plus, they are getting a brand new 14 passenger limo this year.

My FH and I booked with coachman limousine. They gave us the best deal for a 32 pass party bus.

I booked All Star Limos in Farmingdale. They are very friendly, Cooperative and if your Involved in the Police Dept or Fire Dept they Give Discounts. I booked The Royce and H2.. The limos are amazing.
Totally agree..I booked them and they were great!!

I had a great experience with Royalty. They beat the prices of both Sir Oliver and All Star by A LOT!!! I think you have to go there to get the service you are looking for. They are usually busy on the weekends, maybe thats what the problem was.

I know exactly who you are talking about and the problem is (in my opinion), he is VERY busy and may not have the proper help he needs in the office. I can assure you though, that it is no reflection on the service being that he is not going to be the driver. I have used them on two seperate occassions and will have them for my wedding as well. They are really great.

I had a 14 person limo from SIR OLIVER. Trust me - CALL THEM. They were my best vendor. I even nominated them for vendor of the year because they were so nice, on time, went out of their way, knew the directions etc!!

It's bizarre but the same thing that happened to you guys, happened to my FH and I. We met with Manny in person and as he was showing us the limos, he took a call on his cell phone, ignored us when we tried to talk to him and let us see ourselves out. It was thorougly weird b/c my FH and I thought his price was great. We called later that night and though he said we had to book same day for the price, he practically hung up on my FH and said to call back when he wasn't with customers. Well, we were going to be customers but are happy we booked elsewhere.
Check out Double Diamond or All Star. Did not visit Double Diamond, but All Star's offices in Farmingdale are pristine and very impressive. They are recommended by Fortunoff and are a member of the BBB.
