LIMO'S...who rides in what?

I have a big family, there have been many many weddings- so I know/understand a lot more about wedding planning and what usually happens then my FH and his parents do.

FH thought that his/my parents come into the limo with us to the reception hall from church. I told him that's not the case because everyone will be going back to my house for a drink and to waste time before the reception (i guess he didn't realize we need to accommodate people for the 2 hours). And, my parents and his parents should be there with their guests.

Anyways, I know my FMIL is going to be so annoying about not 'riding in a limo.' And wanting to get to the RH very early with us, when honestly they won't be needed for pics as early as the rest of the bridal party. When my sisters both got married my parents just took their car to the hotel/hall because after all, they needed a car to get home eventually.

How is everyone else going about transportation for their parents? The hall is only about 15-20 minutes from my house. Let me know if i'm being bratty about this...but I don't want my in laws in the limo with the bridal party, FH and I. lol

We have a 16 passenger limo for me and my FH and our bridal party- we will be going into the limo from the church to take pics and stuff before the reception, but my parents and his parents are going to go back to our homes to entertain anyone who wants to hangout before the reception. We are also having my parents check us in to our hotel room lol- Both sets of parents and grandparents will meet our limo at the reception to take pics right before cocktail hour. It is good if the parents don't come in the limo anyway because they can load up their cars with everything you want to take home with you after the reception is over!

We have a party bus. FHs family will drive to church. Once bus picks me up with my bridesmaids, my father, mother, and grandparents will come in limo with us to church. After the church they will be going back to my house in other family members cars. Then when the time comes for them to come to venue they will be taking a limo/town car. Our parents aren't coming to WM until 615/630 and cocktail hour starts at 7.

A limo is coming to pick up all the guys and our dads will be with them, then the same car will pick up the girls and our moms will be with us. After the ceremony, the bridal party will all be in the same limo with FH and me and a smaller limo will come for our parents.

ok, thanks ladies! I think we'll get a town car for our parents from our house to the RH.

I doing this. Only difference is both my parents will be with me and both FH will be with him. After church we will have 3 cars, hummer limo, town car (I couldn't see our parents moving around in the hummer) and classic car for us only.

Since our wedding party is mostly family, we also got them transportation at the end of the night. At the end of the night we got a complementary towncar for us,a van and SVU for family members.

We got the Phantom for my father & myself on the way to the church, FH & I after church...Escalade for our Bridal Party. We told my parents & FH's parents that if they want we can look into getting them towncars to the RH, but when we booked Camelot gave us the towncar to take to the airport for our honeymoon, and we're taking our honeymoon 3 weeks after the wedding, so we might just use that to take our parents to the RH.

I always thought parents went in the limos.
