i havent signed the contract yet.. although im suppose to soon for the limo( our friend works for the company and got us a discount)..
we're suppose to be getting a 10 passanger.. which will hold the 8 people including me and FH(the guy said we shouldn't go over 8).. now FH is thinking about adding to our bridal party, making it 9 or 10 people, which would be too crowded for the limo(but FH thinks we can 'sweeze in' and im pretty sure the place doesnt have a 12 passanger... what do i do?

Re: Limo size question
Maybe you could get a seperate car for just you and FH and let the bridal party go in the big limo. A 10 passenger for 10 people with probably be a little cramped. Your going to be all dressed up and you don't want to be squished. Just an idea.

Re: Limo size question
we decided to forget it all, the sequeezing, who's dress/suit would get wrinkled.... all of that.
We got a 2 passenger for me & FH & the 26 passenger Navigator for the BP & Family.

Re: Limo size question
You are not being selfish, I wouldnt want to ride in a town car to my wedding either. I consider them clean cabs.
Does your friend have specialty cars? Like a rolls royce or something similar? Or maybe get the limo from him and rent a special car from another place.
For my bachelorett party we had 8 girls in a 10 pass limo and we were fine - this is not including tall men, big wedding dress or people in formal wear.

Re: Limo size question
i forgot to mention... there is a BIG gap with the church and reception, so whatever we get we need it for 6 hours....... and 3hr package plus overtime to make 6 hours really adds up....

Re: Limo size question
the guy who was setting us up.. asked us if the owner sent us a contract.. three weeks ago he said the next week he'd bring the contract with him, (see him every week), two weeks have past and we didnt get the contract...... so i could ask if they have a 12 passanger but im pretty sure 10 passanger was their largest one

Re: Limo size question
well if you are getting a discount, then maybe you will be ok? Are you taking photos somewhere after church?
My mass was at 2, left there after receiving line & pics like 3:30, then by the time we got to Planting Fileds, took pics, we were late to cocktail!
Time flies!

Re: Limo size question
Maybe you can get another car for you and your finance only for the time needed fromt he ceremony to the reception.
just to let you know...we had a 14 pass car...and had 13 people in it (granted 2 were children and another 2 were teens) and there was still room...
but I think a separate car sounds nice too

Re: Limo size question
don't sqeeze in. you will be very uncomfortable in your dress. we had a 20 passanger and we had to have a second car to hold another six even though we only had 20 people,
