Limo vent Hair and Makeup rave and a HUGE gushing over my photographer
As some of you now our wedding pictures were Saturday. Mya was AMAZING, simply amazing. She was punctual, sweet as anything and did an amazing job. My mother loved her and regretting not thinking of getting her hair done. I was just so pleased with the job she did. Girls who have booked her have NOTHING to worry about. My hair and makeup were still perfect even after our pics were complete.
LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE my photographer so much it's disgusting. Saw 2 of the pics she did on her camera and they were awesome. I actually looked pretty! Truly cannot wait to see our proofs. Her name is Kim Hurst. A few other brides have used her on here. I found her because I saw a photo in someone's review, fell in love with it and contacted the bride. Now the limo. Not going to name the company since they are a vendor on here and I'm sure something will be done if I do. The limo we believe was on time but cannot be certain since he never announced his arrival. Not sure if this is normal but we didn't realize he was out there until my father in law walked by the window and saw him. When my photographer asked if she could put her case in the truck he was very rude to her. He wanted to know why she needed to put it in there and why she was going in the limo. I honestly don't see how this mattered but I stepped in to make him aware that we had asked her to join us (we had told this to the agent when we booked the limo). We had booked the limo with the understanding that we would be going to multiple locations for 8 hours. When I asked about going to a beach location in Patchogue, the driver was visibly annoyed by my question and I saw him (as did my photographer) roll his eyes and shake his head. I've never in my life had someone roll their eyes at me when asked to do something that they were hired for. After that, I spoke with my husband and we decided we wanted to finish up as quickly as possible because neither of us wanted to deal with this guy any more. We nixed 2 of our locations so we could expedite our time with this guy. I was also advised by my father in law that when he was trying to talk to the driver, the driver couldn't be bothered and gave him the cold shoulder. The topper came when we were at our second to last location and the power to the back went down. We had NO a/c and were forced to open the windows for any air circulation. Not something I wanted to do after having just had my hair done. We were more than happy to end our time with the driver after 3.5 hours when we had booked for 8. I can honestly say I will not be recommending the company to anyone. This is not how I wanted our day to go. We had booked the limo to make our day of picture taking easier. It was the only thing that brought us stress on what should have been a happy day.
