My fiancée and I are trying to book limos for everyone. Ugh!
We were thinking about getting a big limobus for 26 people and that way all of the bridal attendants could bring their dates with them while we trek around Long Island for pics and stuff.
However, my mom would rather us be in a limo when we pull up to the reception. She's not being pushy at all - I think I am juts being 'too practical' for her on my wedding day.
Has anyone used limobuses? Can you share your thoughts, experiences and companies used? We found two: Regency Limousines (but they showed us a dirty bus that smelled like beer - ) and Coachman Limousine- http://www.coachmanlimo.com/# - which we haven't looked at yet.
Has anyone gotten a limobus for the party and then taken a limo for themselves? Help!

Re: limobuses vs limos?
Hi. This is too funny. I went to Royalty yesterday. I was told the bus would be there and when I got there it wasn't and the rolls royce i had my heart set on was just about to leave to get a bride...i was glad when i saw it still sitting there....well! i get in and was SO disappointed!!! The car was not well maintained, was dirty inside and the headliner was falling down from the roof. I was totally turned off. I saw other cars with missing door locks, like another bride said..... so, now I am off to Coachman limouisne this weekend. They are a vendor on this site.
As for the bus, it definately does not look elegant from the outside, but the inside is beautiful!!! and very roomy. I am getting the bus for my wedding party & a rolls for me & FH. after pics, i'll let the rols go and hop in the limobus with my bridal party! will be fun!
check out all the vendors on this site under limosines, there are a few places with buses. good luck & let me know.

We originally were going with a bus. Wound up with an 18 passenger Escalade (which is not the classiest look either) Do what is going to work best and make everyone comfortable. If you have a lot of people you will have to wind up getting a few limos which will run you!
Matt and I are going in a rolls. So that will be the 'classy' part of the transportation.

We got the bus from Royalty. Our ride to the reception is going to take an hour and I figured everyone would be mpore comfortable if they could stand up straight and walk around it need be, or go to the bathroom or whatever.
We're getting the Caddy for ourselves. I have no problems with everyone piling out of a bus in front of the church. The way I see it, it'll be January and cold and nobody will be outside anyway.

limobuses vs limos?
We're using a 28 pass bus for all other guests & a limo for the bridal party. We went to royalty & didn't care for them either ... they were very busy & hardly paid any attention to us. We got the rush through ... they didn't have what we wanted anyway.
Someone on this board just recently posted a bad review of Coachman. Check for a wedding review (from today) ... she said that they showed up late & the driver was terrible.
We booked with Camelot ... a great company ... family business & very good prices ... we loved them there! We checked credit reports especially w/ limo companies b/c very often they change names b/c of bad service/reputation.
If you need more info fm mail me!

Re: limobuses vs limos?
we used a limo bus from royalty and loved it - yes it's not traditional, but it was a lot of fun. And believe me, if it rains, you'll be thrilled you have it...you could always get another little limo for you and your parents to go to the church, and have it take them back home after while you and the BP go for pictures. I thought it was just what we needed, we could move around and talk to everyone, and take pictures, I thought it was great, and the BP raved about it!

Thanks for replying everyone. I've been away from the board for a few days.
I will look into all companies mentioned.

My friend used the limobus from Royalty about 3 yrs ago as well as the Excalibur. It was great. Lots of room for a long ride from Queens to Franklin Square (SandCastle).

Also check out Ultimate Class Limousine. Out of all the buses I have seen, they are the cleanest, have the widest aisles and they offer a cocktail hostess on the bus to serve drinks!
