Are you girls providing transportation just to the reception or home too?

Re: Limo/Party Bus Question
Both ways, but the way home is the coach bus, not the party bus.

We offered a shuttle back to the hotel for anyone spending the night there.

Re: Limo/Party Bus Question
We had a party bus but it served as our after party. It stayed stationary in the parking lot. It was fantastic! People could go back and forth from the bus to their rooms. We got so many compliments about that.

Re: Limo/Party Bus Question
We have a bus taking the whole brdial party to the reception. After the reception, we have a van just taking FH and I, our parents, siblings and their spouses back home.

Re: Limo/Party Bus Question
We're providing a coach bus to and from the reception for all our oot guest and immediate family. All of our oot guest are staying at our houses in Brooklyn, so they have no other way to get back home from L.I unless we get them back.

Re: Limo/Party Bus Question
It is a waste of money, people are adults and need to be responsible in getting to and from the wedding. The bridal party is different but for everyone else extending this is a waste of money and not necessary.

Re: Limo/Party Bus Question
I don't think it is a waste of money... more than half of our guests are OOT ( and I mean OOT - flying in for the wedding)...
The cost of having a shuttle bus is small compared to the convenience to your guests (not having to worry about renting a car, getting lost....) as well as a safety factor. It only takes 1 drink to get in trouble with the law.
I have been at weddings where they offered the shuttles and even though we only had 1 or 2 drinks each we loved the bus because we didn't have to worry about driving, directions, parking....
