Limos/Hotels

Limos/Hotels

Does anyone have any limo recommendations? Or hotels? Trying to book those soon...the wedding is at the Woodlands in Woodbury, so I'd like the hotel to be nearby with a shuttle.

We are using the Huntington Hilton for our Woodbury venue. I have been dealing with Annette in groups. She is amazing! She keeps you on track with all that you need to do for your huests. The Hilton has a shuttle but we have over 50 people staying at the hotel and their shuttle only holds 13. We booked with Transtar. Great reviews on LIW.

I ran into that issue with a hotel out east and it annoyed me. (I booked at East Wind but it is a lil pricey so I wanted an alternative for my guests) The shuttle refused to make multiple runs to accommodate all of the guest. The woman told me that even if there are 50 people waiting for the shuttle, only the first 14 would board, the remainder would have to drive there themselves. With the RH 5 miles away it really isn't killing them with gas. IDK I was really annoyed with it. We have another hotel to visit so hopefully they will make me happier.

i talked to the inn at foxhollow, the huntington hilton, the melville marriot (i think?) and the four points sheraton in plainview...only the fox hollow is offering a free shuttle but their rooms are way too expensive and i don't feel comfortable asking that of my guests after they've already given me a gift, or the bridal party who has paid for gowns, or the people who paid to fly here...most of the rooms in the other hotesl run between 139-160...ugh why is life so expensive?
