Lindt Chocolate Favor Sale

I stopped by the NYC lindt store yesterday for some chocolate favors and they have a sale going on. You can get 2 of the 45 piece trufffle package for $20. :D

Normaly they go for $13 a package.

And they have a cute 3 piece truffle favor box for 99 cents!

I'm getting the lindt squares to put in my favor boxes and those are on sale too for $13 for a 70 piece package.

The sales lady even let me try some of the truffles and squares! They are soooo yummy! You gotta love lindt! :D

I got think chocolate expires...I always get a big bag of lindt chocolate truffles for x-mas and I savor it all year long. Just keep them in the fridge.

Re: Lindt Chocolate Favor Sale

you can save them for 9-15 months depending on the type it is, and increase shelf life by 25% according to lindt, if you refrigerate them.

i just went to buy 4 bags of the swiss snap squares to put into my 1.5 inch boxes and they are sooooo delicious!

this coming from a girl who is very picky about the chocolate she eats. :D

==============================
What is the shelf life of our chocolate?
General Information:
Chocolate should be stored in a well ventilated environment (Temperature 60F to 68F/ Humidity 40 to 65%)

9 month Shelf Life:
Panned Nut, Panned Fruits and Boxed Chocolate

12 month Shelf Life:
Filled Product, Nut Based Products, Truffles (all), Truffle Bars

15 month Shelf Life:
Solid Bars with out additions

Can I refrigerate Chocolate?
Place entire package into a sealed plastic bag to protect from moisture and flavor loss. When ready to consume, while in the plastic bag, slowly warm up the chocolate to room temperature to prevent condensation, (2 hours at 65F). Never re-refrigerate chocolate once it has reached room temperature. Refrigerating chocolate can increase its shelf-life by 25%.

here's a pic of the box, not the best pic, the box looks quite nice in person, an interesting rhombus like shape. you can wrap it up and put a personalized label on it or use the box as a place card. it will display nicely, i wish i knew about it 'cus i'm using something else...

Chocolate doesn't really expire but if you put it in the refridgerator it will turn white due to oxidation and all of that, so it will still taste great, but look dusty in a way. The sales happen often, my FH is a manager at Lindt, so I can always let you know when they will be on sale
